F-80 Shooting Star
Part of the Smiling Wombat "Wings of Dreams" collection of iconic aircraft, this T-shirt shows the Famous F-80 "Shooting Star".
The F80 Starfighter was the first operational jet fighter developed for the USAAF. Initially known as the P80, the designation was changed to F80 when the USAF became a separate branch of the military. The P80 was put into service just before the end of WWII and saw extensive service in the Korean War.
