Soo Line Passenger Trains the "MOUNTAINEER"
Smiling Wombat is part of the NEW "Trains of Fame" collection and presents the iconic Soo Line Passenger Trains locomotives used on the famous "Mountaineer". The Soo Line Passenger Trains "Mountaineer" directly connected Chicago to Vancouver, BC. "Soo Line" operated the train from Chicago to Portal, North Dakota. and the "Canadian Pacific" took it the rest of the way to Vancouver.
The Soo Line Passenger Trains ran many passenger trains in conjunction with the "Canadian Pacific" and has now been completely absorbed into the "CP".
