During the mid-1960s, the British Elva Mark VII rear-engine sports-racing car built a terrific reputation for itself within the medium-capacity road racing class. The 1963 Elva Porsche is powered by a flat four four-air-cooled Porsche engine with a wheelbase spanning 90 inches and a weight of only 975 pounds. Elva was a sports and racing car manufacturing company based in Bexhill, then Hastings in England.

The Elva Mk 7/Porsche is a rear-engine sports-racing car that was built in the 1960s. The car was based on the Mark VII Elva, but redesigned aft of the front section to take the 1,700 c.c. Porsche air-cooled flat-four engine.
