1956 Cadillac Sixty Special

Part of the "Smiling Wombat" Dream Cars Collection, here is Cadillac's top-of-the-line sedan in1956.

The 1956 Cadillac Sixty Special was the top-of-the-line sedan for 1956. This car is almost like a limousine, with a 133-inch wheelbase and a length of 226 inches. It weighed just over 4,600 pounds and had a luxury price tag of $5,047, without any add-ons. It's a stunning car, both inside and out, with a luxurious and comfortable interior. The only downside is that it may not be the fastest car on the road. However, it's impressive that after all these years, the 1956 Cadillac Sixty Special still looks as good as new. The distinctive P-38 tail fins make this car truly stand out. There were only 17,000 of these big sedans produced, making them quite rare and collectible.
