The McDonnell Douglas F4 Phantom 2 is a tandem two-seat, twin-engine, all-weather, long-range fighter jet.   It was used by the United States Navy, Air Force, and Marines.  By the mid-1960s, it had become a major part of the air support division of each branch of the 3 services listed.

The most produced American supersonic aircraft in history cemented its position as an iconic combat aircraft.  The F4 Phantom 2 originally only used missiles, but guns were added and the Phantom became good at "dogfighting" and ground support.

The F4 Phantom 2 was also used by the Blue Angels, in their shows, for many years.
